WHAT DO WE PROPOSE?
Haf Afl is proposing an ambitious project to explore and potentially harness Iceland’s vast wave energy resources. This initiative seeks to conduct a comprehensive feasibility study on the implementation of wave energy technology off the coast of Iceland. This project aims to diversify and strengthen Iceland’s already impressive portfolio of renewable energy and is at the forefront of innovation, sustainability and economic development.
Special emphasis will be placed on respecting nature and wildlife, as well as the history and cultural heritage of each region.
Haf-Afl ehf is a newly established energy company that intends to research, install and operate new wave power technology off the coast of Iceland with the aim of ensuring electricity security for communities through responsible use of resources, protection of nature, innovation and development of the electricity industry and the economy.
